This view taken from the Nave shows the the roof of Norman design that was actually rebuilt in the 19th century after a fire destroyed the original roof in 1711, the Jesus figure (Cristus Rex) was created by Peter Ball in 1987 and is made from wood, beaten copper and gold leaf
